Greenhouse Gas Reduction Requirements and Its Influence on the Plastics Industry
This webinar provides a look at what packaging and other plastic manufacturers must do to follow the CO2 emission standards outlined in the Paris Agreement. By 2050, plastic manufacturers and many more, must have emission increases of less than 1.5C (Degree Centigrade). One way to help offset future manufacturing energy usage and to achieve this goal is by using recycled, reclaimed or bio-based materials in their manufacturing applications. As suppliers produce more and more “green” alternative materials, what are the materials that large and small OEMs will be transitioning to and why?
