Kim Dempsey Miller
2021 Rubber Division Chair @Rubber Division
Kim Dempsey-Miller is the 2021 Rubber Division chair. In this role, she has established a vision for the association that will allow it to thrive in the coming years as it brings professionals together in-person again for networking and educational events. Her aims have been to strategize for growth, expand educational opportunities, integrate with a variety of industries and provide professional networking opportunities. Dempsey-Miller’s decades of rubber industry experience have taken through a number of different roles with several companies, and she has remained an active member of the Rubber Division. Today, she serves as the technical manager for RecycleDelphia, a tire recycling company that aims to create a stronger planet and community through responsible business practices and community investments.
Lakisha Barclay
Executive Director and CEO @Rubber Division
Lakisha Barclary, executive director and CEO of the Rubber Division, is a self-described forever learner whose vision for the Rubber Division involves expanding its reach and focus. In less than two years at the helm of the association, she has helped to expand educational opportunities and partnered with overseas industry ambassadors to help attract a more diverse group of professionals. She also is working to bring more young professionals into the industry and the association with outreach efforts at the middle school, high school and collegiate level. Miller-Barclay has been with Rubber Division since July 2007, serving as director of finance and administration before being promoted to her current role last year. She currently is enrolled in Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management Executive MBA program. In June, she achieved Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification, the highest professional credential in the association.
